[ At his desk, Ishimaru will find the following -

- Songs of Innocence and Experience by William Blake
- How to Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie
- A few notebooks and a couple binders
- An extra pair of notebook with neat, perfectly uniform handwriting on the front that says Algorithms on the front, denoted as (1) and (2). If he cares to look inside, there's equally neat handwriting that seems comparable to an introductory textbook... Unfortunately, the 90s didn't have anything of value for this by his standards, and so he seems to have taken it upon himself to copy down everything he knows on the subject. It's quite comprehensive, albeit limited due to the lack of problems and pictures to assist.

Leaned against this small stack is a card that says Santa Claus with a cute little Santa hat drawn at an angle beside the letters. There's no red here, and so somebody seems to have gone with gold instead. Close enough. ]
